THE UNFORGETTABLE MRS. RENATE DOLZ ONCE WROTE:
"TO KNOW A KERRY IS TO LOVE A KERRY"
The Beginning
Although even those days the trend towards American Kerrys was ever present, we began breeding with the half siblings: "Sarlou Niall Kooh" and "Torquil Penny's Pixie".
Both had been fathered by "CH Rownhams Argus".
On 5.11.1974 we received kennel protection confirmation "Penny's" D from the Registered Terrier Club.
„Nature is the Measure of all things“
For us this saying still rings true. Nature is selective, allowing the fittest to survive, while the weaker fall by the wayside.
A natural breeding and rearing policy that is appropriate to the breed is essential.
The first litter of two bitches was born on 31.5.1976.
The A-litter even produced a champion in the form of "Penny's Ayana", a well built bitch, full of substance, who became Junior World Champion in 1977.
In Herning, Denmark she battled against stiff competition from established breeders becoming Junior World Champion straight away.
